Fail-Over Call Divert
If you lose your connection, perhaps because you have a power failure, or your ISP has a problem, our network detects this within 2 minutes and will divert all your incoming calls to any landline or mobile telephone of your choice - anywhere. If you use our PBX, you can have a separate failover for each extension too. So, should the worst happen, you have a simple and automatic way of coping.
And, should the worst happen and you need a full disaster recovery solution, you just plug any SIP telephone into any internet connection, pop in your ID and you’re up and running again immediately.
How Do I Use It?
You just enter the number you want calls to be diverted to on the main diverts page in the Control Panel.
Please note that you must have calling credit on your account for this service to function.
If you use our Virtual PBX you can set divert on each extension on the PBX diverts in the Control Panel.
How Much Does It Cost?
If you divert the call to another Voipfone number or customer, or someone on another VoIP network that has partnered with us the call is totally free.
If you transfer to someone with an ordinary telephone or a mobile phone anywhere in the world you will be charged at our standard low prices.
