Voicemail is your digital
answering machine, but unlike a normal answering machine
you can hear your messages from almost anywhere and not only
from a land line but also from your mobile phone, from the
Internet and even by email.
When you’re busy or away or on the phone you can have
your service divert to voicemail. You can record your own
personal message or use the pre-programmed one that we provide.
The voicemail
message will also be automatically converted into
a sound file, attached to an email and mailed to
you. You can then listen to it from your PC from
anywhere. Because it is a digital recording you
can even save it on your PC or email it to someone
else.
How
Much Does It Cost?
It’s
absolutely FREE!
How
Do I Use It?
You can access your voicemail
for free using 1571 or by calling 0870 068 8451
from any phone anywhere. (If you’re abroad
just dial the international number 0044 870 068
8451. You will be asked for your Voipfone telephone
account number (the 300XXXXX one) and your password.
You can record your own message and select many
more functions by calling 1571 and choosing the
relevant option when you are prompted.
If you use our PBX service you
will have multiple voicemail boxes, one main account
mailbox and also one per extensions.
Any numbers you have set to 'Ring Extension Group'
will go to the main account voicemail if you're
unavailable - you can check those messages by calling
1572 from any phone on your PBX. Each extension
also has its own voicemail, reachable via 1571 from
the relevant extension.
