How To Use The Voipfone TAPI Auto-Dialler
It's quite straightforward:
1. Have your 8 digit Voipfone account number and 6 digit password ready. Virtual PBX users should use the eight digit account number followed by the extension number in the format 3XXXXXXX*2XX. This will ensure that the correct phone rings when you click to make a call. Extension passwords can be found under the Services tab of the Voipfone Control Panel, in the Virtual PBX, PBX Extension Numbers section.
2. Close Outlook
3. Download the software – see previous page - and run it.
To use the dialler
1: Open Outlook/Express
2: Open the contact you wish to call
3: Right click on the number
4: Click on ‘Start Call’
Your Voipfone phone will then ring. When you answer the call, you are connected.
This dialler works with Microsoft’s Outlook and Outlook Express. It should also work with other Windows based applications such as CRM packages too such as ACT! and Sage.
